Top Ten Chrismas Toys for 2009 and More….

Its that time of the year again, when the little cherubs are looking up at you with a moist dreamy look in their eye, knowing deep down that they have been good this year, as the nights draw in and the arrival of the big Jolly Fat Man draws ever nearer. Ahh, what do they want for Christmas this year you think as sit down before them with a mug of mulled wine in one hand and some horse chestnuts in the other; a dolls house, a bicycle helmet, a little toy car or two….? Doh! Forget that that, they want a Nintendo DSi or the Wii Fit Plus or Some Expensive GHD Hair straighteners, holy smokes I forgot, they don’t believe in the Recession, they actually do think father Christmas is made of money. Well they gotta start learning soon right, forget what they want, just get em what the Toy Retailers Association recommends. Every year they release the a List of the top toys for the coming Christmas period; probably just to encourage us to buy them, but hey its Christmas the time of Huge Bills to all Men. First Steps Walker, Pink Vtech

Awww, A baby walker how cute. I’m not going to dis-respect these because they are very useful. After all the sooner your baby gets walking, the sooner they start to become interesting. No, bear with me here think about it. What do babies do if they can’t walk? Nothing thats what. They just lie there gurgling a bit, crying (probably because they can’t walk) and filling their nappy. Ok its cute a first but it does wear a bit thin at 3 O Clock in the morning. Doesn’t it? So surely when a baby can walk they can get up in the night and use the toilet without disturbing anyone. Cicciobello Love ‘n Care

Cicciobello is a Doll. But not just any doll. Its a Sick Doll! A poorly Doll. A Doll with a fever. Whoever came up with that idea clearly wasn’t very well themself. Who wants to play with something that sick? Well little girls do evidently, because Cicciobello is poorly he is crying and his cheeks are glowing red. Check his temperature with the special ear thermometer, it will turn red when he is feeling unwell. Maybe he needs a drink? Find the right one to make him feel better, whether it is his milk, juice or medicine, if he is still crying maybe he needs an injection? When he is feeling better he stops crying just to make sure he is fully better check his temperature and the light goes green if he is 100% better. Now give him his dummy and he’ll fall fast asleep.

Ah bless, makes a bit more sense when you put it like that I suppose. Teaches kids to care for something other than themselves, so that cant be bad.
